Dongguk University Gyeongju Oriental Medicine Clinic is realizing the founding philosophy of cultivating academics and character based on the spirit of Buddhism, filling the entire world with compassion and wisdom, including the people, human society, and nature, and creating an ideal world where people trust and respect each other. In order to save sentient beings suffering from diseases through oriental medicine and put into practice the light of mercy of Buddha, the hospital opened in November 1983 as the first general hospital of oriental medicine in the Yeongnam region in Gyeongju, the capital city of Silla, and is currently providing treatment. On February 26, 2005, it was moved into Dongguk University Gyeongju Hospital.
Gyeongju Oriental Medical Clinic, comprised of renowned medical staff, dispatches medical staff domestically and internationally to improve the quality of medical treatment, revitalizes clinical research, conducts active academic exchanges, scientificizes oriental medical treatment through objective diagnosis using cutting-edge medical equipment, and improves facilities to create a pleasant environment.
